Palm Bay Florida is a superb place to live with a population of roughly eighty thousand, and only a fifteen to thirty minute drive to the beach. The attractive, bright weather makes it an enticing place to live for folk of every age.
Palm Bay is legendary for their excellent, A-rated colleges, and there are numerous activities available for folks of every age and interests. Real Estate in Palm Bay has noticeably increased in price during the last 10 years. There are roughly a hundred subdivisions in Palm Bay, starting from modest three bedrooms, two lavatory ranch style houses in the low $300,000’s to huge executive style waterfront property on the Gulf of Mexico or Lake Tarpon.
Recreation is all the rage in the Palm Bay area. Innisbrook Golfing Course is a stunning, five-time prize-winning club where the PGA Tour is held each fall. It has 4 courses with different difficulty and terrain. If you adore golfing, this is the place to live. For the cruising and fishing fans, John Chestnut Park is a gorgeous park found on Lake Tarpon. It’s an excellent place to have vacation picnics, birthday parties, or merely relax. It offers ship docks, many picnic areas and pavilions, playgrounds, a softball field, and a giant dog park. With its lush environment and lakeside benches, it’s a good spot to visit.
Palm Bay is only a fifteen to thirty minute drive to one of the top ten beaches in the world, Clearwater Beach. Many eateries are found along the beach, as well as volleyball nets, a playground, blown up water slide, bungee trampoline, and a beautiful pier. Sun worshipers will adore these beaches covered with attractive white sand. On the 1st Fri. of each month, Downtown Palm Bay holds a block party with music, kids’ activities, vendors, food, and more. It’s an excellent place to pass some time with family and meet new chums. Held off Alternate 19, the music is great and sellers offer many crafts and activities for everybody. There are several fun places to dine in Palm Bay. Molly Goodhead’s, found in central Palm Bay, a Yank seafood and steakhouse cafe with a sports bar atmosphere.
It’s a great spot to go watch ‘the game’ or for an evening out with others. Another favorite restaurant with the neighbors is Fortunate Dill. With the Long Island feel and a piece of free cheesecake with each meal, Fortunate Dill is the place to frequent. Plenty of the colleges in the Palm Bay area are rated ‘A’ by the Pinellas County Education Board. Cypress Woods Elementary, Lake St George Elementary, Palm Bay Middle College, and Palm Bay high school are famed for their excellent instructional feats and community participation. Teachers as well as athletics are very powerful in all Palm Bay area colleges.
Palm Bay is a good place to live due to its central location and excellent climate. Only min from malls, the beach, and about a forty five minute drive to Busch Gardens, many of us are proud to make Palm Bay their home.
